Leung Ping-kwan

Ping-kwan has published 11 volumes of poems to date, including bilingual volumes such as City at the End of Time, Clothink, Travelling with a Bitter Melon and, most recently, Shifting Borders. His collection, Postcards from Prague, has received literary awards in Hong Kong. He was writer-in-residence in Berlin (1998) and in Saroge, France (2006). He also published volumes of poems in French and German translation. Ping-kwan’s most recent work of fiction is Postcolonial Affairs of Food and the Heart (2009). He teaches comparative literature and cinema at Lingnan University, Hong Kong.
