What book would you like to snuggle under covers with, and why?
“I love history. The history of Singapore and Malaysia enriches my writing themes. The many facets of society, either good or bad, filling with love or hatred, are all beautifully projected in my literary works like musical notes. A Chinese critic once said, “ The Land of Happiness and Peace” constitutes my pursuit for beauty. The comment was most appropriate as I have been toiling on this “ Land of Happiness and Peace” for the past decades. The wheel of time moves forward forever and history has no turning back. Yet my hard work on this “ Land of Happiness and Peace” is able to withhold and preserve the sweet aura of history.”
