Newspaper readers know her as Lee Huay Leng – journalist and columnist; literary fans know her as Fei Xin – author and poet. Lee Huay Leng has resided in London, Hong Kong and Beijing in the past. At present, she is a journalist with Lianhe Zaobao. Whilst her job keeps her up-to-date with current affairs, she also enjoys immersing herself in history and memories as well. Her published works include prose collection  Distanced, Accustomed to Gloom, Step by Step and Hong Kong Reverie. She also pens her own column in Zaobao Sunday.
