Writers / Presenters
Irie Aman is a creative and community organiser. their passions range from mental health to art to advocacy, and they believe these all can (and should) be combined. an interdisciplinary artist, irie believes in nurturing and honouring both non-textual and textual parts of one’s self. they were the editor-in-chief of the local rebel, and an open mic night organiser at dink. currently, they are a member of the writing commune /s@ber.
Yellow Mushmellow is an artist who believes in seeing magic in everyday things. With humour and playfulness, her whimsical ideas and illustrations bring the seemingly mundane to life by exploring fun and interesting points of view. A lot of her work also draws from personal experiences, making it relatable to many.
Cecilia Knapp is a poet, playwright and novelist, and is the current Young People’s Laureate for London. Her plays have toured nationally and her debut novel is forthcoming with The Borough Press in 2022. Cecilia was Poet-in-Residence at Great Ormond Street Hospital and is an ambassador for the mental health charity CALM.
Rosie uses drama and theatre to explore potentially difficult and sensitive themes. She has a master’s degree in applied theatre and a master’s degree in counselling. As an applied theatre practitioner, Rosie has explored themes of self-care, sexual assault trauma, self-harm, communication, and mental health. Her counselling practice is often experiential, specialising in addiction and trauma. She is currently the President of the Singapore Drama Educators Association.
