The fact that these self-styled writers have taken social media by storm and brought poetry to the masses gives them undeniable lit cred. Three instapoets dish the dirt on staying true to their craft in the face of public scrutiny, and how Instagram has transformed our experience of poetry.

Jemimah Wei is a writer and host based in Singapore and New York. A 2020 Felipe P De Alba Fellow at Columbia University and Pushcart nominee, her work has been published internationally and received support from Singapore’s National Arts Council. She is presently at work on a novel and several television projects.
