Hear from Thomas about his journey as a poet, translator, performer, and most fundamentally as a student who revels in the wonderous world of words and languages.
This MTA session follows Thomas' prior performance 'Riches of the Ear: A Celebration of Words and Wonder' and is co-presented with the Centre for Singapore Tamil Culture and the National Library Board.

Moderator
Effectively bilingual in English & Tamil, Jayasutha is a professional emcee, moderator and television personality, when time permits. A sporadic writer too, she has her first children’s book on the topic of colourism launching in a couple of months. Also a proud mother to a 9 month old baby girl, she hopes to do all she can to empower her daughter to be culturally bilingual.
Jayasutha Samuthiran is the global brand manager for Glenfiddich, based in Singapore, and leads retail excellence across the world for the brand. Born in Singapore and having lived most of her life here, she has spent a couple of years working & cycling in equal measure in Amsterdam.
