Writers / Presenters
Jennifer Anne Champion is a poet, archivist and educator. She was Singapore's poet-in-residence at the National Centre of Writing, Norwich, UK in 2021 where she worked on embroidered poetry. Jennifer is the author of two collections of poetry – A History of Clocks (Red Wheelbarrow Books, 2015) and Caterwaul (Math Paper Press, 2016).
Robert Yeo has published in many genres, beginning with poetry and moving on to plays (performed and published), essays, memoirs, and libretto (for opera). He has edited many anthologies of short stories and plays, and written teaching Literature texts with a co-author. His poems are collected in The Best of Robert Yeo and his influential plays in The Singapore Trilogy. In 2011, he was awarded the SE Asian Write Prize.
Desmond F. X. Kon Zhicheng-Mingdé has authored 18 books, spanning poetry, fiction, memoir, and experimental writing. A former journalist, he has edited over 25 titles. He is the recipient of the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award, Independent Publisher Book Award, Singapore Literature Prize, and three Living Book Awards. desmondkon.com
Ow Yeong Wai Kit is an educator and editor of four poetry anthologies. He holds an MA in English from University College London, and has served as a judge of the National Poetry Competition organised by Poetry Festival Singapore.
