Merve Emre is Associate Professor of English at the University of Oxford. She is the author of several books and a regular contributor to The New Yorker.

Crystal Abidin

Dr Crystal Abidin is a digital anthropologist and ethnographer of vernacular internet cultures. She researches influencers, online visibility, and social media pop cultures especially in the Asia Pacific region. Her sixth book is TikTok and Youth Cultures, forthcoming in 2022 from Emerald Publishing.
