Performing writer Miles Merrill brought poetry slams to Australia from Chicago. He is the spark for dozens of spoken word programs across the Asia-Pacific region.
Ilyas Lukman is a performer and creator with a strong spoken word focus. His work revolves around relationships, the spaces between and surrounding politicized bodies, and his experiences with gender, Islam, and his Malay identity in a local context. Ilyas' work has been described as candid, raw, and occasionally grotesque.
Pranamika is a writer and film enthusiast. She has featured in poetry events like destination:INK and Spoke & Bird.
Daryl Qilin Yam (b. 1991) is a writer and arts organiser from Singapore. He is the author of the novella Shantih Shantih Shantih (2021), shortlisted for the 2022 Singapore Literature Prize, and the novel Lovelier, Lonelier (2021), a finalist of the 2021 Epigram Books Fiction Prize.
