Writers / Presenters
Christine Chia wrote The Law of Second Marriages, and Separation: A History. She co-edited the anthologies, A Luxury We Cannot Afford, and its sequel, A Luxury We Must Afford. Her work has appeared in the Washington Square Review, The Arts House, and the W!ld Rice play, Another Country.
Djohan started off writing lyrics in 1992. However, he started writing short stories, poetry and essays in 1998. To date, he has published two short story anthologies, and collaborates with publishers from Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
Paul Tan has published five volumes of poetry, the most recent When The Lights Went Off in 2018. He's taking a break from his work at the National Arts Council to pursue a PhD in Creative Writing at NTU.
Jo is an actress, writer, and radio jock. Her work has been seen as far as New York, London and Cannes. In Singapore, she won Best Actress at The Straits Times Life Theatre Awards 2020 for her self-penned one-woman show Forked (2019). You can hear her every weekday on Kiss 92's morning show, Wake Up and Go with Div & Jo. She's also a proud Dungeons and Dragons streamer on Twitch with SEA's most prominent D&D livestreamers, The 4th Culture.
Aaron Maniam's debut poetry collection Morning at Memory's Border (2005) was shortlisted for the 2007 Singapore Literature Prize. Second Persons was published in 2018. He has mentored young writers under the Creative Arts Programme since 2004 and NAC's Mentor Access Project. He has twice judged manuscripts for Sing Lit Station's Poetry Bootcamp. He is a civil servant by profession.
Adrian is the author of the bestselling novels The Teenage Textbook and The Teenage Workbook. His books have inspired television, film and stage adaptations. He is a partner at TSMP Law Corporation.
